Growing up in a small town in Central Texas, I would go to Waco almost every Saturday with my family since it was the closest city to have movies and shopping. The road into town always brought us to a large traffic circle (“The Circle”), and at some point during my teenage years, my Dad started circling it multiple times (à la the Griswolds) on purpose, which always made us laugh. He then started doing it when I had friends in the car, and when I started driving, I did it too. I’m not near Waco much these days, but when I am, a Circle run is in order!
